New photoshop return an error

Big problem with new release of photoshop. When upload a photo the program tell me "Error", the old version instead was good

Which version of Photoshop and OS?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have?

You don't "upload" a photograph you use File > Open

If you're having application issues it might be worth resetting the Photoshop preferences, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop preferences.

Does that happen with This file specifically or with all photos? 
what is the file type and file extension?
