Hi everyone,

Yes I am new to photoshop and illustrator and I cannot figure this thing out. Is there anyway to remove a shape from an image? I have an image that I want to place a word in the middle of it but I would like to remove a rectangle first and then place my word in the rectangle area that was removed? I used to use cricut and I can easily do that there but want to do it on Adobe.

thanks in advance!

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Photoshop forum so that proper help can be offered.
