Hey Adobe,

I recently downloaded the newest version of Photoshop. Now if I have more than one file open and save one the screen will not load the other screen I'm working on. This also happens if I haven't clicked on the other page in a while. This then causes my photoshop to freeze and I have to restart my photoshop. Is there anything I can do to get this to stop?

Which version of Photoshop and OS?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have?

Have you tried resetting your Photoshop preferences, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop preferences?

Derek Cross,

thank you for responding to my post. I have a Windows computer with 951 GB of local disk capacity and Ram of 16 GB. I currently have the 21.2.4 Photoshop update. I have checked in for new updates but this is a constant problem. I have reset all my settings with photoshop short of uninstalling it.

Presumably your OS is Windows version 10.

I suggest you unistall Photoshop, using the drop-down menu in the Creative Cloud app, and reinstall it again. If that doesn't solve the problem then uninstall it once again and then run Adobe Cleaner before reinstalling Photoshop again.
