Hi there,

the Nik Filters are installed at the right place. Since the last update of PS you can open your image in the filter range, but if you press ok, nothing happens.

Someone got an idea, what´s going wrong?

Hi there,

Sorry that the Nik collection filters are not opening in Photoshop since the recent 21.2 app update.

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of how it looks like when the filter panel is expanded and used?

Also, have you checked that you are using the latest version of the Nik filters with Photoshop so that they are compatible.

Thanks,

Akash

Hi there,

thank you for getting an answer, I have to say that it´s not the latest version of the Nik filters, it´s the free version. But

I found a way, how it works. If you press the ok button after using the Nik filters and nothing happens you go to your filter panel and press the latest filter you have used and it works. But you don´t get a layer for your filter. If you want a layer  you can press strg + j before you use your Nik filters and you have got your layer. A few more clicks and it works like before. I hope that it was helpful. Or has someone got another idea?

DXO, who now owns the Nik filters, just had a 30% off sale on the filters for the July 4th holiday. They might have another sale when the next holiday rolls around, which you might consider.

I have found that you have to select the plug-in from the nik-collection tool.  If you do that it actually makes the layer and functions as before.  It is only when you attempt to open from the adobe filter menu that it fails. Another thing, this doesn’t happen on jpegs typically, but mostly on Tiff and NEF file formats.

Hopefully that helps
