Hi,
I am looking for help in erasing objects from two photos in seperate layers in photoshop. In my previous experience I could open two images from lightroom as layers in photoshop and then use a black layer mask and white with the brush tool to erase unwanted objects and light from the image. When I use this method now, it partially erases the objects but leaves behind a ghost of the image. My mode for the brush is set to normal with flow and opacity on the brush set to 100%. On the layer mask the opacity and fill is set to 100% and i am still not able to completely erase an object. Any help is apprciated.

Thanks for the image, but would help if we knew exactly what objects you want to erase. You could lasso around the pictures so on the wall, then use edit >> content Aware Fill. After touch up by swtiching to the healing brush and smoothing out the edges. Same technique for a peson on couch, but a little tougher to do.

We would need yoy to save layered Phoroshop image as a PSD so we can see where the Problem is. Maskimg should work. Lihjtrooom has mothing to does not support layers onle the full composit is used by Lightroom We would need to see the composit and layers.
