I want to open a PDF with Photoshop, edit it, and then save it back as a PDF. Opening works, but I can't save a file as a PDF.
According to the user manual, the PDF format should be available for selection in "Save as". But in my case there is no PDF format to choose from. It also does not work when I want to save another file or a newly created graphic as PDF.
What can I do to solve this problem?

How was the original pdf created?
Does it contain vector/type content?
How did you »open« it?
Photoshop is not a pdf editor, so unless the pdf was created in Photoshop and saved with »Preserve Photoshop Editing Capabilities« checked you are probably degrading the image quality.

Hi
Can you tell us where you found a user manual? If you mean the Adobe Help pages, it needs to be updated, as this is new in PS 22.4.

Ok that's the reason why it works on my other PC with Photoshop CC.
