P: Photoshop v. 22.3.1 - Can't use any more fonts

Win 10, all actual.

In Photoshop I can choose font, font-size or font-color, but the moment I try to set some letters in a picture PS freeze. Nothing helps only restart whole computer. Tried different fonts, also standards, doesn't look like a font problem.

Which version of Photoshop and OS?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have?

If you want to have some text over an image ensure you have a separate layer for it (If you save it as a JPG it will flatten it for you).
