P: Program error while opening or creating new document after Photoshop 22.1 update [2020]

Since yesterday's update, can´t even open a jpg file. Always says: Could not complete your request because of a program error. I need to work.

05/20 update: We have resolved another program error issue while dragging assets from libraries to the artboard in Photoshop 22.4.1 update. Could you please update Photoshop to the 22.4.1 version via the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app and let us know your feedback.

Salve, ho lo stesso problema che riscontrato tuo e cioè da oggi che Photoshop non mi fà aprire nessun file jpeg in quanto mi dice "impossibile completare la richiesta perchè non è stato trovato il file"...se per caso avresti risolto questo problema potresti gentilmente darmi un aiuto e ti ringrazio in anticipo.

Risolto, aggiornando sia Adobe Creative Cloud e dubito dopo aggiornamento di Adobe Camera raw, e finalmente adesso come per magia riapre tutti i i tipi di files.

Salve a tutti, per quanto riguarda il problema dei files che Photoshop non apriva avevo fatto richiesta di aiuto qui sul forum per conto di un mio amico fotografo, che mi aveva chiesto di poterla fare per lui poichè non conosce la lingua inglese, dato che aveva provato a trovare qualche post ma era tutto scritto appunto in inglese, allora ho provato io per lui ma avevo visto un post in italiano ecco che allora ho chiesto aiuto avendo lo stesso problema di un italiano , nel frattempo il mio amico mi fà sapere che il problema si era risolto dopo un aggiornamento di Adobe Creative Cloud e subito dopo di Adobe Camera Raw. Ma non mi ha detto di preciso come ha fatto. Quindi riprovo a chiederlo a lui se mi può dare delucidazioni in modo per quelli che non hanno ancora risolto mi piacerebbe aiutarli.

Aggiornamento : ho chiesto altre info sulla questione del problema perchè Photoshop non faceva aprire i files di nessun tipo, il mio amico fotografo mi ha spiegato che la causa (almeno la sua) era dovuto ad un danneggiamento dell'applicazione Adobe Creative Cloud nel suo computer, la stessa Adobe dal suo account ha provveduto alla disinstallazione e reinstallazione della suite e dopo per conseguenza anche Camera Raw gli viene segnalato di aggiornarla, dopo queste operazioni Photohop ha ripreso ad aprire normalmente tutti i files che prima non apriva e trovava. Questo almeno quanto è successo a questo mio amico che ha risolto del tutto il problema.

Anche io ho lo stesso problema da 3 giorni con aggiornamento Photoshop 2021. Ho parzialmente risolto cancellando la versione aggiornata 2021 (22.0) sostituendola con quella precedente (21.2.4). Nell'app Creative Cloud Desktop accanto ad Open ci sono tre puntini. Cliccandoci sopra si aprira' finestra con "other versions". L'unica differenza, credo perche' la Camera Raw invece e' aggiornata con la nuova versione, quando apro un file jpeg si apre direttamente in Camera Raw. Ma in basso a destra c'e sempre un tasto "open" e scegliendo l'opzione "open as object" il tutto si risolve. Un po' macchinoso ma meglio di niente, nella speranza che il problema della nuova versione venga risolto velocemente

Please know we are looking at this issue closely. Unfortunately, there are a few different root causes and we are still identifying them individually. 

 

We are working on a patch but the above steps should help to get you working again in the meantime.

these directions don't work for the updated creative cloud desk top app. New updated version does not have the older versions options.

The option to install an older version is still most definitely in the CC app... I'm looking at it right now and can install v20 and v21.
