Hi Everyone. I'm new to Adobe Photoshop (Windows version), and I'm walking through tutorials to get a better grasp of it. I wonder if it's possible to pan around & zoom in/out the image while another tool is active. For example, I have zoomed in far enough that the image windows shows only part of the image; the Polygonal Lasso Tool has been selected & is active, so now I wonder if there's a way to pan around & zoom in/out the image using a certain combination of keyboard modifiers & mouse buttons (e.g. clicking & holding the mouse scroll wheel to pan around the image) or if there's a setting to enable this functionality? For the record, I'm a CAD Designer... so I'm just attempting to do things in a similar way as in Autodesk applications... Thank you!
There are so many ways! Here's a Help page:

I use spacebar to pan the canvas. My favorites for zooming include Ctrl+Spacebar+click or drag, Ctrl + , Ctrl - , Ctrl+0, to name a few.

Yes, but Ctrl+space and mouse click(move) freezes Ph time to time. They can't fix it a year in a row!
