Pasting Smart Object from Illustrator causes Photoshop to freeze. Badly.

Photoshop v 22.3 on Apple Silicon can't stand Smart Objects from Illustrator any more. Complete freeze when I try pasting any object from Illustrator. Plus, Photoshop is still frozen when you want to restart it after the freeze. The only way is to reboot the computer.

Am I the only one?

Same setup and the same issue is happening to me. I even uninstalled photoshop and reinstalled it. I'm still having the same issue.

The Photoshop 22.3.1 update didn't fix the problem, unfortunately... 😕

Come on Adobe Team... It was working perfectly fine before v 22.3!

As Sam said, it's quite annoying.. The crash is so bad Photoshop doesn't even display your latest work on the welcome screen.
