photomerge crashes photoshop

as soon as I click on photomerge in the "file / automation" menu, photoshop crashes.
I tried with and without hardware acceleration, activating the options one by one ...
I reinstalled and deleted the preferences.
Always the same issue ...

 

Nvidia Driver, Windows 10 and PD are up to date
