I have used Photoshop’s Photomerge (File > Automate > Photomerge…) many times successfully, not every day, but today it gave me a horrendous error message (see below, minus some HTML). The message came up instantly, before I could even select files to merge.
I am using using Photoshop Release 21.2.1 running on a Mac with Catalina 10.15.6. If I try to use the Photomerge feature through Bridge, I get the same error message. I have attempted various “reset” scenarios but the problem remains.
I’m sure the operating system and all my Adobe apps are up to date. Everything else (Bridge, Illustrator, Premier pro) works flawlessly.
Today, I’m asking for suggestions on what to try next.
