Hi
Since I could not find a suitable solution to the problem anywhere, I decided to ask here as well.
I use Photoshop on a desktop PC and everything looks okay, but when exporting and uploading to Instagram, the image stretches vertically and the composition loses its original appearance.
I know Instagram does compress which means the image loses a bit of upload quality, but any other change should not happen. Usually I attach the images in resolution and aspect ratio suitable for Instagram (1080x1080 1: 1 or 1080x1350 4: 5).
The problem is that the elongation of the images can be noticed only from the phone even before uploading to Insta, from PC everything looks normal which is very strange to me.
I am using a widescreen monitor and Pixel Aspect Ratio in Photoshop is set to Squares.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
Thank you

How are you sending images from Photoshop to your phone?
Do they look stretched on your phone when viewed in your image viewer on your phone?
