Photoshop 2020 crashing

I am running a Mac Pro Tower 2012 with 10.13.6. Sadly, Photoshop 2020 is not working anymore and I cannot update to the latest version because of an incompatibility issue. I've tried reinstalling and deleting preferences. Shutting down and restarting. How can I get the 2019 version? Thank you.

CC offers one versions back, so Photoshop CC 2019 should not be available from Adobe anymore.

What have you done for trouble-shooting Photoshop 2020 so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:
