Moin,

hab folgende Photoshop Version laufen: Adobe Photoshop CC 2020 v21.2.2

Mich irritiert das er so langsam startet und die Druckeinstellungen so langsam sind.
Das war früher viel schneller.(leider weiss ich nicht mehr welche Version das war)

Hab mal gestoppt:
Aufrufen des Druckmenüs: 8 Sek.
Druckeinstellungen öffnen: 10 Sek.
Die geänderten Druckeinstllungen wollen 18 sek.
Zeit bis zum Druck: 18 Sek.

Wenn ihr mich fragt EWIG!

An meinem System kanns eigentlich nicht liegen:

Proz: AMD Ryzen 7 - 8 Kerne à 3,4 GHz
Ram: 32 Gigabyte 3000 MHz
Festplatte: NVMe SSD 1 TB Samsung EvoPlus
GraKa: GTX 1050

Auch Googeln hat da nicht geholfen.

Wäre für eine qualifizierte Antwort gern zu haben.

feinste Grüße

Seb

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Would you mind telling us since when are you facing this issue? Please ensure you have all available Windows updates installed on the machine. If you are experiencing the issue only while printing, please try resetting the print preferences by pressing and holding the Spacebar on the keyboard while clicking on Print in the File menu.

If you experience the performance issues with working in Photoshop as well, you can try optimizing the preferences of Photoshop using the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/optimize-photoshop-cc-performance.html

If the issue still persists, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2Qzc0K3

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Nikunj

Hello, please also give us information about the printer: is it a local/usb or networked printer? which model and brand? does it have the latest drivers?

Do you have old printer drivers still installed?

Did you try to print to PDF if you do have acrobat installed?

Hey,

as you speak english I´ll try my best to keep up.  grin.gif

I´ve tried the optimizing  prefrences and to reset them.

Without succsess I´m afraid.

I do not have problems with the printing options when I use InDesign or Adobe Acrobat DC.

They are pretty fast.

At work I have a small HP Workstation with PS version 20.0.04

Here the Adobe products simply run like lightning.

My Printer is an old Epson Stylus Photo R2880 - but it´s good and works fine.

As it is over 10 years old Epson doesn´t support it any more.

The drivers are the latest possible.

As I mentioned: formely I didn´t have problems.

But since the hardware is new, I recieve the issue.

Here the details:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 - 1700x

RAM: G.Skill PC 3000 CL 32GB DDR 4 - 4x8 kit

SSD: NVMe SSD 1 TB Samsung EvoPlus

MB: Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 5

Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050

Thanks for your effort,  huhu.gif
