Photoshop 2020 lags and slowdowns

hi everyone. i'm experiencing lags for no reason. i've used the 2019 version without any problems the other year, and after a short break and a new installment, after i've started working on PS CC 2020, i've noticed that there's a weird lag on some sections. i'll upload video of what im talking about because it's not easy to write it down. please watch the video and help me with my problem.

so far, im sure its not the ram percentage, not the GPU accelerator, not the cache size, and it's working on the latest version

Please share the version of Photoshop along with your computer's OS. Does the app freezes while performing a specific task?

hello, i use the Version: 21.2, updated from 21.1 earlier, and nothing changed. i'm also using the latest version of windows 10. the app lags while selecting certain things, like i've showed on the video, the toolbars are lagging behind my mouse, selecting certain tools takes a while as well, and typing on the type tool also takes a bit of time, for example, while deleting a text, or changing to a different tool. these were not an issue on earlier versions and is something new for me

edit: i've also tried reinstalling, and completely deleting the preferences

Would you mind updating to latesr version of Photoshop from the Creative Cloud desktop app and let us know if that helps?
