Some PSD files are Force stopped.

1st . Applying an effect to a specific layer will force stop.

2nd. Change layers name ..

Some devices show the same symptoms.

Spec

Mac OS Catalina

10.15.5

But i tried to before version "Photoshop CC 2019" it works.!!

Is it a Photoshop version up problem?

Please Help ...

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the force quitting issue. Could you please try disabling "Legacy compositing" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Regards,
Sahil

Hi, try updating to 21.2.1, as it fixes a crash related to layer effects: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/fixed-issues.html#photoshop-desktop-fixed-issues
