Hi I'm an illustrator, so rely heavily on brushes. The latest photoshop update made working in photoshop virtually impossible for me.I work on Windows 10 on a 22HD cintiq. Everything is up to date and all other programs don't have these issues.
1. All brushes lost texture. Fiddling with brush settings only breaks ALL brushes. It changes that setting option for ALL brushes, not just the one. It's also as if the locks mean nothing anymore
2. Opacity, pen pressure, and pen tilt no longer work. Again, only photoshop.
3. Text box no longer has a bounding box, vertical line to see where you are, or highlight. So text tool is completely unusable.
Things I've tried:
1. reinstalling and restarting drivers
2. the PSUserConfig.txt that worked in 2020 photoshop when this same exact bug happened to me and many others. Seems Adobe didn't actually fix anything in the meantime...
3. Powershell commands
4. fiddling with brush settings and therefore effectively messing up ALL of my brushes because jesus is something broken within the code for brushes it seems
5. Yes I've tried turning off use GPU....but that's frankly not a real fix. I and many have a beefy GPU *because* of photoshop and other programs. Turning it off, unsurprisingly, just makes photoshop unusably slow and laggy.
