Which OS version?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have?

Try it this way:

1) Close Photoshop
2) Double click on the Photoshop icon to launch it
3) QUICKLY hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift. (for Windows) or CTL+OPT+CMD+Shift (for Mac OS X)
4) When a dialogue appears, asking you “Delete Photoshop Preference Files?” Click Yes.

(If you don't see the question do it again.)

LATEST

I tried your suggestion - latest version of photoshop 2021 - latest version of iOS Big Sur.

It got me further in (I can see the tutorial screen before it locks up) but still just a spinning wheel forever.

3.5 GHZ Quad Core Intel i5

AMD Radeon r9 M290X 2GB

Just making sure I'm not wasting my time on a machine that can't run the software.

Hi

I have the same issue with latest version 22.4, Creative Cloud states my machine is compatable for that version using Win10 etc... Photoshop opens up and then immediately crashes. Resetting preferences does nothing.

Thanks

Pete
