Photoshop 2021: Print studio pro plugin cannot be added on M1 Mac mini

I am using a Macmini with M1. I have the latest Photoshop 2021 installed.. I tried to add the Canon Print Studio Pro plugin (2.2.5, latest version). Plugin installer stated it was installed successfuly. All files are there in the correct location, in the plugin folder, but the plugin does not appear in the "file/automate" menu. I google-d it there, and back, and none of the solutions provided on the net did solve the problem.

We're sorry about the trouble with the Print Studio Pro plug-in. If the plug-in is designed for Intel based machines, they will not appear in Photoshop on the M1 Macs. This is a known issue. Please check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-for-apple-silicon.html
