I can't say that it technically "crashes" since it doesn't just freeze and disappear. Instead, after awhile it acts like I hit command-Q or selected Quit from the File menu even though I never did. It starts closing all tabs that don't need to be saved and then pops up a window asks me if I want to save changes before quitting although there is no 'cancel' option, only 'yes' or 'no'.
So far, all 4 times that it's auto-quit have been when it's idle in the background while i'm working in another app. It has yet to do it while I was actively working in Photoshop.
