Photoshop 2021 - won’t open PS2020 .tif file

Hi,

I've upgraded my PS and LRC yesterday.

I had some .tif files in my LR library that I was editing in PS(previous version).

Now I've tried to edit one of those photos in PS2021(Edit In > Adobe Photoshop 2021) and what I get is one merged photo instead of all the layers used to be in this .tif file.

Is PS2021 unable to properly open and edit .tif files that was created in the previous version?
