Photoshop 21.2.4 File is missing when opening files

My OS is Mac High Sierra and the photoshop version is the latest i can update to.

 

Everything stopped working an hour ago and i can't open any files even though i tried dragging some images into photoshop itself it still says "could not open file, file could not be found. 

 

Please help we are all running on project deadlines!

Check your camera raw version in photoshop by going to Photoshop>About Plug-ins and click on Camera Raw.

If it says Version 13.0 then that's possibly the problem, since apparently adobe is updating non compatible mac operating systems with camera raw 13.0.

 

You can go back to a compatible camera raw plugin by running the Camera Raw 12.4 installer from here:
