Photoshop 21.2 continues to crash when using Burn and Brush tools on macOS 10.15.4

Alright, this has been a constant issue. My OS is macOS Catalina v10.15.4 and 21.2 in Photoshop.

Photoshop 20 closes as soon as I use any brush, burn tool, etc. Honestly, it doesn't matter what tool it crashes. This has been ongoing for 6+ months. Thankfully the ps19 works perfectly, as 20 should... but here we are with zero insight as to fix these issues.

Sorry that Photoshop 21.2 on macOS Catalina is crashing while using  some tools like Brush and Burn.

Does the problem occurs while working with a specific file? Have you submitted the crash reports as described in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html

Would you mind unchecking the option "Legacy Compositing" under the Preferences> Performance menu and let us know if that helps?
