When I try to process between 50-200 image through Automate -> Batch.
- All Photoshop
freezes for a sec

- Batch Window stays open unresponsive

- Although, it still runs the predefined actions & scripts assigned through the Batch Window

- After all the processing is done window stays open, without any buttons or X for me to be able to close it (I have to restart Photoshop to be able to close the window). How do I close the window without restarting Photoshop?

Yeah, did nothing. Tried:
- Changing Drawing Modes, check/uncheck various options within it: "Use graphics processor to accelerate computation", "Use OpenCL", "Anti-alias...", "30-bit...", ".. GPU acceleration".
- Also tried adjusting cache tiles/levels
- Changed script to allow Dialog popups with ON or OFF, which did nothing

I have the same issue!  Instead of closing and reopening photoshop, I just move it off my screen.  I've run several batch processes before closing with 3 or 4 "batch process" windows still sitting open.  Of all the glitches I experience, this is the least of my worries.  Sure, it is annoying and eventually I quit out and restart, but otherwise photoshop works correctly.

Which Photoshop version exactly are you on? And what is your OS system and version too?

LATEST

I'm on MacOS Mojave  V10.14.6, with the latest version of Photoshop V22.3.1.  I have not upgraded to Catalina OS because some of the issues it has with some of my regular programs-although it might be fine now-just hate upgrading and learning more new things, lol.

Another option to try is the Reset Preferences On Quit located in preferences.
