Hi Guys,

So it's dawned on me that the Adobe Photoshop 21.2 release is full of bugs!
We have updated on multiple PC's with sooo many issues.

All PC's are Intel i7 with processors running Windows 10.

For one, my home screen does not appear AT ALL.

I can open documents in photoshop, but am unable to "create new" documents - the create new window does not even come up. I have tried to reset the software preference with "ctrl, alt, shift" on startup but that didn't help either.

If any one has a solution for this, please feel free to share.

For now, i will just roll back to the previous version because that version is stable and working.

Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop since the latest updates. Please ensure you have all available Windows updates installed on the computer and you have the latest graphic card drivers installed from the manufacturers website.

You can try the steps suggested here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-home-screen-issues.html

Please let us know how it goes.

Good morning Nikunj,

Thanks for the reply.

I do have the latest windows updates, and do have the latest graphic drivers.
I will try doing what is suggested in the link supplied and will revert accordingly once i have tested it as i will need to install the update again first.

Kind regards,
Keith.

Good day Nikunj,

It does turn out that the latest windows 10 updates were not installed on my system.
After doing the update; the Adobe Suite functioned flawlessly once again.

Thanks for the assistance.

Regards,
Keith.

Can you post a screen capture that show you problem, That shows all that is visible in your Photoshop's UI.  What happens when you use menu File>New  are Photoshop menus also missing like the home screen is missing?

Good morning @JJMack,
I will have to reinstall the updated version inorder to send a screenshot.

(I will do that on Monday if you need me to).

When I open photoshop:
- Photoshop loads
- Menu Bars load and i can click on them.
- Home screen is gone.
- CTRL+N Does not work.
- File --> New - Does not work

The only time i am able to open a file and work on it is if i open an existing .psd document.
Could this possibly have anything to do with the hardware of my PC?
