I could not open or create any document in latest version of photoshop, due to a program error. Following down the troubleshoot step, and found the problem was on display drivers. Once "use graphics processor" is turned off, I can open file normally.
So the problem narrow downs to display driver issue. And on older versions of photoshop (i.e. prior to 22.0) works fine.
I'm running photoshop on my Mac Pro with latest version of catalina (10.15.7), and using Apple's MPX module (AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo).
