Photoshop 22.1.1 Error Direct selection tool

Hi, I can´t use instaled Photoshop 22.1.1 the Direct selection tool does nos allow me to select the images.   I can´t make them smaller or larger. I unstalled and instaled again the program but the error continues.

The direct selectiom is a vector tool. You edit Pathe with it.

• To resize the entire document, go to Image > Image Size

• To resize a selection or layer, go to Edit > Free Transform (Cmd+T) > Drag a corner handle and/or type in the options bar > click the checkbox in the options bar to accept. See this Help page:
