Photoshop 22.1.1 freezes until a hard reboot on Windows 10 (build version 20H2)

PhotoShop 22.1.1

Window 10, 20H2

PhotoShop keeps on hanging since the latest version. It will not be responding, and the makes the computer finder hang someitmes. The only thing to do is to press the power button for a hard reboot. I have an urgent deadline.

It does not help when the "Help" panel do not work at all. Clicking on the sections do not have any actions. Is this a new featuure or an oversight besides the constant hanging?

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Please try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.
