Photoshop 22.2.0 closes instantly when using any selection tool on macOS Mojave (10.14.6)

After updating to version 22.2.0 when creating any type of selection, photoshop closes instantly! Losing the entire project.
I have a MacBook Pro macOS Mojave, in it I have the updated version 25.2 illustrator that works normally

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop 22.2 while using the selection tools.

Please try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.
