When I zoom in on the file, a black square suddenly appears like the attached file.

Have you double checked your Layers in case you have inadvertently inlcuded a black triangle!

When I close Photoshop and reopen it it was fixed.
Sorry to mislead but unfortunately this problem happened again. Problem not solved. 😞
