Good day! Photoshop freezes when working with photos. This happens suddenly, maybe almost immediately after opening the document. The program can only be terminated via "Forced termination". I don't move windows. It also shows a "software crash" when I try to save a photo. The document can only be saved using the "Save As ..." function.
This issue only occurs when using the wacom intuos pen tablet ctl-490.
I have previously written about this problem, but it has not been resolved.
All drivers are installed new. MacOS has been updated. Photoshop has been updated.
The only problem is in Photoshop.
There are no problems with Lightroom and Illustrator.
Please help me to solve the problem. I pay for the program, but I can't work in it!
Hi,
We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop due to the app freezing. Would you mind telling us if the app freezes with the Wacom tablet disconnected as well or just with it connected? Have you tried uninstalling & re-installing the Wacom drivers to check if that helps?
Please go to the System Preferences for your Mac, then Security and Privacy, then select the Privacy tab. Then select Accessibility from the list to the left & check if Photoshop & the Wacom drivers are added to the list

Please go to the System Preferences for your Mac, then Security and Privacy, then select the Privacy tab. Then select Accessibility from the list to the left & check if Photoshop & the Wacom drivers are added to the list with a check mark in front of them. If not, please add them by unlocking the window first using the lock at the bottom left, then clicking the + icon & navigating to the Applications folder. Also, grant permissions to Photoshop under Full disk access located in the same list as Accessibility. Once done, restart the Mac & check if it helps.
You can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/3dFRlyi
Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://adobe.ly/2vNz6FG
