Photoshop 22.4.1 hangs when using the crop tool

Using Adobe Photoshop Version: 22.4.1 20210518.r.211 7b18b4f x64

Although I have an NVIDIA GPU, Photoshop reports:

GPUName: Microsoft Basic render Driver

GPUVendor: Unknown

So, how Can I get the crop tool to not freeze Photoshop?

What specific NVIDIA graphics card? How much VRAM?

Problem solved. I've re-installed the latest NVIDIA drivers.

I am having the same problem.  I have no idea what the appropriate driver is that I should be looking to download.  How do I determine/know that?  I am new to all of this and still learning.
