Photoshop 6 on mac 10.11.6

Had late 2013 mac pro and purchsed from adobe ps 6 or 13 first macpro just stopped working transfered hd to new mac pro also running 10.11.6 and even after un-installing ps 6  countless times I still can not get ps 6 to open... It ran great from time of purchase  to when mac stopped working .... many years. Any suggestions Ps 6 is all I need and can really afford right now.

See if resetting the photoshop cs6 preferences by going to

/Users/UserName/Library/Preferences

and trashing the following makes any difference:

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings folder

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Paths

com.adobe.Photoshop.plist
