I have Photoshop 7 on a Dell XPS computer running Windows 10. When I try to resize an image using the Image Size tool the program freezes. This problem started about three weeks ago. I have owned this program for several years with no problems until now.  I have tried unistalling and reinstalling but I have the same problem. thanks for your help.

Hi

The update to Windows may have made Photoshop 7 unusable. Try resetting Preferences after baking up any customization. Follow the steps to "Using a Keyboard Shortcut" here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Some of the other methods only apply to newer versions.

Photoshop has only been sold by subscription since 2013. Here are the plans if you decide to upgrade:

https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html

You can get a 7-day trial first to confirm it works.

Photoshop 7 from 2002???!!!  OMG.  To be honest, I'm very surprised it lasted this long.   Get Photoshop Elements or Photoshop CC, both are way better than what you have now and built to work with modern operating systems.

Photoshop Elements (approx $100, no subscription needed)
https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html

Or get the Creative Cloud Photography Plan -- approx $10/month for 12 months. Includes the latest versions of these great products & services:
-- Photoshop CC and Photoshop on iPad
-- Lightroom on desktop, mobile and the web
-- Lightroom Classic
-- Portfolio website + hosting
-- Spark with premium features
-- Bridge
-- 20 GB cloud storage (upgradable to 1 TB).
