Photoshop Action repeats

I used a Photoshop Action and it works fine.  I loaded a different action, closed the previous action, and ran the newly loaded one - but the previous action runs again.  I can solve it by deleting the previous action, but then I have to reload it to use it again. I'm using Photoshop CC the latest version and the ATN files are Cartoon Art Photoshop Action By-KGNDesign and Dot Grid by SparkleStock.

Could you please post a screenshot with the pertinent Panels (Layers, Actions, Options Bar, …) visible? 

Did you actually select the new Action in the Panel? An Action can be selected even if the Set is not expanded.

That may have been the case, I am able to run new actions now, thanks.
