Hello all,

I have a short .mp4 video of a fire effect and another .mp4 that is the alpha of the effect in black and white. Is it possible to get an alpha channel to work in Photoshop as a video layer and apply to the actual fire video layer?

Thanks for your help 🙂

Not that I know. There's no simple way in PS to apply track mattes due to transparency all being based on selections and associated layer masks. You likely would have tho cvonvert the timeline to frames and then batch apply the Alpha from another converted timeline/ series of images. If you have After Effects on your system it would be a lot simpler to just do it there.
