Photoshop and Bridge communication

Hi everyone,

Photoshop 22.3.1 does not accept photos sent by Bridge 11.0.2.123. Operating system is Windows 10.

I use the following scenario:

Open Bridge.

Open photoshop.

Select an image in Bridge and double click it to send to Photoshop.

Photoshop comes up with the wait blue donut.

After a few seconds I am left with an empty Photoshop.

This is new this morning so, I tried re-installing both programs but, it did not solve the problem.

So, is there a solution?

Make sure you have the proper version selected in the file association in the Bridge preferences.

SORRY, forgot to mention I did. Also rebooted the computer and as mentionned above reinstall both programs.

Furthermore, at 1:00 AM all worked perfectly and at 8:00 AM this morning restarting both programs, I have this problem.

You didn't say if you also did what Chuck said to do. Go to Preferences (Mac: Bridge menu; Win: Edit menu) and check the association for .psd and other image formats.

I did begin my reply with the following : "SORRY, forgot to mention I did" to answer his comment. Which meant that I did check that all were ok ahd did not changed while I was sleeping.
