Photoshop (Beta) for Mac not exporting JPEG

I'm using PS Beta for M1 Mac and was trying to export a JPEG created from a photo stack layer but the resulting file was 0 bytes, no preview available and unable to open with PS or Lightroom. Any advice appreciated.

Sorry that Photoshop Beta on Mac running M1 processor is unable to export a JPEG created from a photo stack layer.

Are you able to process and export other files and file formats? 

Have you tried exporting a different JPEG file to check if that works fine?

If the issue is reproducible with all JPEG's, restoring the app preferences would be worth trying:
