Photoshop CC 2018

I have been using CC 2018 for afew years ( Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 ) and suddenly Photoshop will not open at all.  Bridge will open but when I try to get Photoshop to open it just flashes once with nothing happening...  no number, signal or error information on screen.

Does anyone have this problem or solution to fix?

Check your Creative Cloud application for an update. This was an issue a while back and required the CC app to be updated to validate your install.
