Photoshop CC 2020 has gone haywire and fetching up brushes.

I don't know if I've pressed an incorrect key but suddently my clicking on adjustments (levels, curves, etc.) it is fetching up brushes.  Is anyone able to help please?

That shouldn't be happening, let's make this right.

Could you please try updating Photoshop to version 21.0.1 via the Creative Cloud Desktop app and let us know if it helps?
