Problem with recently installed Photoshop CC2019

I open a RAW image in camera RAW 11.3

Do any adjustments

Click “done”, all options which were ‘live’ are now ‘greyed out’ and cannot close or do anything.

Do a CTR-ALT-DEL

Start ‘Task Manager’ and see that Photoshop 2019 Status is ‘not running’

So I end task

Start again, carry out all adjustments and this time try to “open” same result!

However it will “save”

My old CS6 which is still operable works a treat!

Any suggestions?

Hi

Can you try this:

Go to Photoshop >Preferences >Camera Raw and uncheck "use graphics processor".

Now try opening a raw file.

I am moving this from Creative Cloud to Photoshop forum for you.

See Photoshop system requirements.  You need the minimum plus extra to run your OS, Creative Cloud and other software.  Photoshop system requirements

How much RAM have you allocated to Photoshop?   It's in Preferences under Performance.

And how much free space is on your scratch disk?

When you are in RAW and choosing to open the file. Does it open it normally, or does it open it as an object (Smart Object)?

If it opens as a Smart Object some features will be limited.

This could also be a conflict of having two versions of Photoshop on the same machine.
