Photoshop CS5... want to save my settings and profile

I'm very new to Photoshop and have everything set up on the program as I know how to use it.  I want to use the Classroom in a Book but I don't want to loose my set up by messing with the tabs and groups because I won't know how to get it back where it is everytime I use it.

Can you tell me how to save everything I have in the program as it is... so I can restore it after my classes?

Thanks so much!

Carla

Look at the following Adobe list of where the various settings files are located, find the settings you want to preserve, and copy those files to a backup location. When you want to restore them, copy the same files back into their original locations.

If you really are using Photoshop CS5 which is rather old, the locations in that list may not be the same because they’re for the current version. I am not sure if they still have the list of where everything is for Photoshop CS5.
