Update? CS5 is way past its end of life and has not had updates for years.

It says there's an update, but it fails.
As Dave mentioned, CS5 is quite old. It was released in 2010. With a 10+ age, it is past the point of any support.
What operating system are you using?
If you recently installed cs5, then there are most likely some "updates".
Often installing a newer adobe application manager lets the updates complete.

It just turned off while installing the program.
