I have the Adobe creative suite cs5 which I purchased several years ago. I'm using it on a mid 2014 macbook pro with Yosemite.
All of a sudden Photoshop CS5 is not working. Iluustator does but not CS5.
I was using Ilustator and photoshop 17 for a while on this mac, but am no longer using it.
I kept opening up files using the CS17 ikon by mistake.
I'm wondering if this has got anything to do with the problem?
Creative suite 5 wont work with later operating systems apparently.
So I'm keeping Yosemite on this mac.
Can anyone help?
Please give full details of what exactly happens when you try to use Photoshop.
I could not even open photoshop.
I have an old version of the software installed on this mac. I purchased it with the rest of the creative suite several years ago. When it could be installed via a disc or the serial number.
Occasionally I click on the the cs17 icon by mistake . This seems to alert adobe of fraud? and they shut down my photoshop.
I cant open cs 17 because it is no longer installed.
But I keep having the once I can use shut down by them?
is this the case?
its absolutely infuriating.
