Recently, as a goodwill gesture, I was given a free upgrade to Photoshop CS6 v13.0. I installed it and it worked great for a few days but now it's not working properly. I can open the program, but when I click on an item in the top menu nothing happens.  It's frozen as I cannot "x" out of the program.  I'm running it on Windows 10, and I installed the updates.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry that Photoshop CS6 is freezing after the upgrade to v13.0 on your Windows 10 computer.

Try deselecting the option "Use Graphics Processor" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance menu, then relaunch Photoshop and see if that helps?

Would you mind checking the list of troubleshooting steps mentioned in this article https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-slow-lags.html and let us know if that helps?

Thanks,

Akash
