iMac; Mojave. I am using Photoshop CS6. First time posting this particular question but I have been trying to solve it for a long time, without success.
When I install new software that functions as a plugin for Photoshop CS6 I can usually see it fine in the Filters dropdown menu. My question is, how do I remove these plugins from my hard drive, where are they? More importantly how do I remove these items from the Filters dropdown? I can't seem to find where this list resides.
Thank you in advance.
Hector

Are you asking about Presets or Plugins.
Can you show us the drop down list you are referring to in a screen shot?

According to the marketing information from the vendors, these are plugins.
In the attached file, the items highlighted are the ones I am referring.

Plugins are usually in the main Plugin folder and have the extension of .8bf.
So if you Search your drive in Finder's search box or you could try Easy Find.

Two places to look for third party plugins are
/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Plug-ins
Hard Drive/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS6
on macs the plugin/filter extension is .plugin not .8bf which is windows.
Most of the time you can just drag the plugins to the trash to remove them from cs6, although a few do have unistallers, so if you not sure go to the plugin makers website and check how to remove their plugins.
