Photoshop Files stored in photoshop delete on their own

Hello Community. I am a digital artist using adobe photoshop 2020. I recieve a "could not complete your request because file was not found" message when I click on photoshop files when opened in the app. I also have a red negative symbol next to my photshop library.

Are you saving your files to a network share or cloud? Are you connected to the internet?

Have you run all Creative Cloud desktop app updates?
