Photoshop has been working fine for many years. When I tried to edit a photo today the system freezes. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still does it. What is going on? How do I fix it? I have version 23.3.1

It seems to just happen when I try to crop a picture.

Try going to Preferences > Performance and check the "use graphics processor” box
never-displayed
