Hi,

Photoshop 2021 is crashing everytime I try to open anything but the smallest files.

While I could previously open files as large as 700mb, I can no longer even manage a 100mb file without it running out of RAM (Indicated by a dialogue box) and crashing my entire pc. If i am able to open task manager, it shows a spike of up to 13GB of ram following the failed opening of files as small as 100mb.

These same files are readily opened by others and by Illustrator.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire CC Desktop Client as well as Photoshop itself, to no gain. I have also attempted rollback to the last version of PS, but that doesn't work either.

In addition, MS Teams seems to often crash if run at the same time as PS, even if nothing is open.

Specs

16GB DDR4 2133MHz

AMD Ryzen 5 1600X

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

Windows 10, lastest update

Sufficient Storage Space on SSD and HDD.

Nothing I've found so far has been any help. Anyone got any ideas?
